Playing Catch-Up
Due to some “life events” over the last few months, I have gotten way behind in posting, especially my USPSA matches. So this is just going to be a dump of links to my July, August, and September match videos. These last three matches have not been good ones. In fact, it brings to mind the famous scene from Steve Martin’s, “The Jerk,” where Navin Johnson’s father explains the difference between Shinola and, uh…the other stuff.
Let’s just say these three matches were not Shinola. They were more like the other stuff.
I’ll keep it brief. All three matches were plagued with many, many misses. Also, in both the July and August matches, you’ll see me run past an array of targets and fail to engage them, incurring the associated penalties. Then in the September match, I was plagued with gun issues. Three different failures to extract malfunctions, which led to a lot of fiddling with the gun to get it back in action…which led to slow times and low scores.
So there you have it. The last three matches were definitely not Shinola. Check back in October to see if I can get some Shinola and less of…the other stuff.
